The measurements that real woman would ever have.
As we were talking about body image last class, I thought this was pretty interesting. Even little girls are exposed to the unrealistic measurements of beauty. Though barbie cannot be the cause of eating orders, low self-esteem, ect, it can definitely add to the measure.
In this picture, the girl standing next to barbie is a sophomore in college who actually experienced her own eating disorders growing up. She stated that she grew up with barbie, which is why she started this campaign on showing people that barbie is no figure to aspire to.
